Literature Text
This is a portrait of sadness
A depiction of fear
And it fills the mind with madness
And makes me cry a tear
But in the end it matters not
For this is all a game
And the game is that of Life
And it is never fair
And yes this disappointment has a name
You see this is Heartbreak Warfare.

The Storm
What can you do?What can I do?...
As the rain falls and the lightning strikes.
As I sit and I watch

And I think how unfair it is
That my mom made me stay inside!

It rattles my scalp
I start to run
The wind starts blowing....
Blowing me away!
I scream in fear

I fly through the sky

I get ripped up!...
By the furious twister!

Now I am

Leaning forward, he took a sharp turn along the dirt path and pedaled hard. Faster and faster until finally, with a loud twang, the bicycle chain snapped. He thrust out a hand to break his fall.
He lay there, sprawled awkwardly as a result of his fall, unmoving, staring into the dirt in his immediate field of vision. The grass swayed in response as the wind picked up speed. The trees were beginning to follow the movement of the grass, bending over until their branches almost touched the ground.

This World
this world
we're bleeding out like stab wounds
withering to the floor
staining the beautiful tiles
until they are clean no more

The first thing that popped in my head was the last two lines of Heartbreak Warfare by John Mayer. The second thing was the first two lines of the poem I am posting. I hope you like it and will give me some feedback so I can make my next poem better.
